We start with quality American lumber: pine, oak, poplar, alder, maple, black walnut, mahogany, and others. You won't see this level of quality in any other futon frame.

We are different, one of a kind. We build the best, strongest futon frame you can buy. We glue, screw, clamp, and join every joint to make our frames as strong as they can be.

Our frames open easier than imports, all you do is pull out the two 1 1/4" x 7" dowels. The back is hinged and you just lay it down. The seat is glued and screwed to the arms for a much stronger frame, and our seat is flat like a real sofa.

It's much easier to get up from our mattresses and there is a lip on the front so the futon won't slip down.

The seat and back and back slats are made of 1" x 6" and 1" x 8" boards. You can recline our seat backs into four different positions, with two extra folding legs on the back for support when converted to a bed.

We use 3 stretcher bars. The bar in back is 1 1/2" x 4 1/4", the middle bar is 1 1/2" x 3 1/2", and the front bar is 1 1/2" x 7" with a 3" lip to guard against slipping.

Big and Tall

Our frames can withstand the heaviest and tallest of people, and we build the only futon frame on the market for big and tall people. Our solid wood frame is strong and sturdy and has a flat seat, making it easier to get up from, whereas import frames slant downward, which makes them hard to get up from. Our futon sofas come in full, queen, and king sizes.
